Clearfield Campus
Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania is pleased to extend the offering of the Physician Assistant Program to our Clearfield Campus Location. Using state of the art technology, the University is able to deliver television quality, fully interactive, live broadcasts of curriculum between the two campus locations.Full time resident faculty at Clearfield conduct the same small group learning and lab experiences that are provided at the Lock Haven Main campus while students enjoy the more intimate environment afforded by a smaller class size.Clearfield Pennsylvania is located 60 miles west of the Lock Haven University Campus and is located within a federally designated health manpower shortage area.
The new campus location is beautifully designed and provides students with a state of the art facility with the latest innovations in technology. During the clinical year students from the Clearfield location complete clinical experiences at the same locations as students from the main campus. This educational model has been studied extensively by the program faculty and represents a highly effective mechanism to extend the PA curriculum to citizens in the western regions of the Commonwealth. Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania is one of only several programs nationally to utilize this advanced technology.
